Moving to Georgia Series - day 1

Today is day 1 of the movers coming to pack up all of our stuff. Surprisingly, only one lady showed up today to start packing our house. She is moving along pretty quickly, however, but she is obviously going to need some help with the furniture.

It is strange having the house be in such disarray considering that we have all the stuff we do not want packed stuffed into one room off to the side. This includes the clothes we are taking with us (living out of a suitcase - hooray!), stuff for the pets, a cooler, and other various things. Now I get to play car trip Tetris as I will try to cram all of our stuff into 2 cars while leaving room for our 2 cats and a dog.

The biggest issue is the waiting. The packing will not be done until Wednesday, then we get to move into temporary lodging for 8 days, then take our three day trek to Georgia. Oh well, Wednesday evening will come soon enough, I wager. Fun!

I hope to use a decent amount of time that we spend sitting in billeting to upgrade this site further - even though I have done a ton, there is still so much left to do. July should be a crazy month!
