Our first stop in Grand Cayman was the town of Hell, so named because the discoverer thought it looked like Hell.

Another view of the Temple of Kulkulkan. On the Equinox, the shadows will hit the temple just right and the shadow will create a snake along the stairs and you can see the head at the bottom. It is amazing that it was built over 1000 years ago with no modern tools.

Other ruins in the Chichen Itza area - the Great Ball Court is the back structure. Lots of people were here today since it was so close to the Equinox.
