DJ had never seen the Jefferson Monument before, so he wanted to make sure he got over there. This was the last stop on our route.

We stopped to take a picture of the Capitol building. DJ had never gotten over to see it before.

Strangely, just about every single food truck claimed to use 100% organic ingredients in all their food. I doubt that was true. We settled for a couple slices of pizza and saved our appetite for Cheesecake Factory later that night.

We are standing in front of the lake at the middle of the WWII memorial - this was a newer monument that neither of us had seen on our previous trips here.
