DJ is at the pool during a class trip to Jellystone Park in the waning days of 5th grade. Also pictured are Amy (his girlfriend at the time), Jennifer, and Shannon.

This was somewhere between 1986 and 1989 - DJ and Joel were selling baseball cards out of DJ's garage trying to make money to buy more baseball cards. Joel didn't want his picture taken for some reason. Look at DJ's shirt - Skate Pro? He was the worst skateboarder ever!

Not sure which Christmas this was taken, but it was likely around 1987-1989. This is DJ's parents and all his siblings. This was one of the last times this happened, if not the very last, as DJ's older siblings started graduating and going off to their own lives after this.

DJ's 11th birthday party, held on Halloween of that year. We had a blast this year. One interesting note is that this was my last birthday that did not include copious amounts of video gaming.

DJ played a year of T-ball and then this was his first year in B-ball. He played for ETV Trucking, the team that had won the title the previous year. But, all the best players moved up to A-ball so the team was pretty bad, DJ included.

There was a guy, Mark, who worked and lived at the campgrounds during the summer who owned that barge in the picture and also a jet ski and once in a while he would take kids out for a ride one at a time. This was DJ's turn. It was a lot of fun.
